Iwata Grand Hotel (2280 Iwai, Iwata, Shizuoka Prefecture) will change its hotel name to GREENITY IWATA and grand open in the fall of 2024.
All 55 rooms feature spacious rooms of 36m2 or more. In addition to twin and double rooms (45 rooms in total) and suites (8 rooms) with natural hot spring half-open-air baths, there are also rooms with private saunas and Japanese-style rooms.
The natural hot spring “mall spring” contains a lot of plant organic matter and is said to be effective for beautiful skin. The blackish-brown water pumped up from 1,500 m underground can be enjoyed in two different types of large baths and outdoor baths. It is also equipped with a Finnish-style sauna.
The hotel is built on top of a green hill, with a beautiful garden covering about half of the property. Visitors can enjoy the seasonal flowers and plants, and relax freely on the lawn and benches.
The hotel’s all-day dining/Japanese restaurant/lounge will also offer dishes using local seasonal ingredients, sake, original sweets, and roasted coffee. They can enjoy their meals with a view of the garden.
