Chuo Line Limited Express “Conventional Ticketless Express Ticket (Tokuwari)” (35% discount) What used to be available as a paper ticket “Ekinet Tokudate (with boarding ticket)” has been renewed as “Conventional Ticketless Express Ticket (Tokuwari)” on April 1, 2012, which does not require ticket receipt. This convenient and economical product allows passengers to make reservations via PC, smartphone, or tablet and use the ticketless service without receiving a reserved-seat express ticket (available only to Ekinet members). Period of use: All year from April 1, 2024

Sales period: From 10:00 a.m. one month prior to the boarding date to the departure time of the train on the boarding date

Target trains: Ordinary car reserved seat on Chuo Line limited express trains (Azusa/Kaiji) 50% discount on “conventional line ticketless limited express tickets (Tokuwari)” in the start commemorative campaign. For example, the ticket between Shinjuku and Kofu will be sold until June 30. For example, a regular one-way reserved-seat limited express ticket between Shinjuku and Kofu costs 1,580 yen for adults, while a “conventional line ticketless limited express ticket (Tokuwari)” (35% discount) costs 1,020 yen, or 790 yen, a 50% discount during the start campaign.
