Odakyu Hakone Group announced that it will reorganize as of April 1.
Odakyu Hakone Holdings, Hakone Tozan Railway, Hakone Sightseeing Boat, and Hakone Facilities Development will be merged and renamed Odakyu Hakone Co. The new president will be Hidehiro Mizukami, current president of Odakyu Hakone Holdings and Hakone Tozan Railway.
On April 1, the company will spin off some of its businesses, including merchandising and food & beverage, and reorganize its subsidiaries.
Odakyu Hakone Co., Ltd. will continue to operate railroad, steel cable, cableway, ship, real estate, hot spring, and amusement park businesses. There will be no change in the names of services that have been popular for many years, such as “Hakone Tozan Railway” and “Hakone Pirate Boat.
