The first product in the Star Wars series, the Aritayaki Opening Crawl Plate (198,000 yen), will be released on February 1 from Trakal, a joint venture brand between Tsugiiro and Stella Nave.
This is a gem of an Arita-yaki porcelain product that incorporates the opening roll that decorates the opening of a movie and captivates fans. The item has a profound presence that is typical of the brand, which mixes traditional craftsmanship and culture.
The entire opening roll of the classic trilogy is reproduced, and the excitement of that beginning is brought back just by looking at the plate. The plate measures approximately 300 x 180 mm and comes in a custom-made package.
It is fun to enjoy looking at it, of course, but it is also fun to think about what to put on it when actually using it as a plate, such as a menu that gives a sense of the world of the work.
Also on sale at the same time is “Aritayaki Kanegon” (748,000 yen). This is a limited edition of 15 pieces. The porcelain figure has a unique appearance and is decorated with a gold glaze, showing the attention to detail in the modeling. The figure is approximately 250mm in height and weighs approximately 500g.
