LINE Yahoo has released “Pollen Information 2024” on the “Yahoo! The service will be available until the end of May.
It consists of “Pollen Radar,” which allows users to check the movement of pollen on a map, and “Pollen Dispersion Forecast,” which displays the latest one-week dispersion forecast for each city, town, and village.
This year, the amount of pollen dispersed nationwide is forecast to be higher than usual in a wide range of areas except Kanto Koshin and Shikoku. Especially in Hokkaido, the amount of birch pollen is expected to be 200% higher than usual (600% higher than the previous year). The start of dispersal is expected to be on par with or slightly earlier than usual, such as from early February in parts of the Kanto Koshin region.
