Short-term dispatch of fishery and food-related companies, etc. to Brazil and Mexico!
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) believes that there is a potential for mutually beneficial cooperation, such as contributing to solving local development issues and further expanding business to Latin America, by promoting cooperation with Japanese private companies, using Nikkei and Nikkei communities active in the countries to which they emigrate as a bridge. Based on this belief, since FY2012, JICA’s Latin America Division has planned and implemented a field research program, “Cooperation Mission with Japanese Communities in Latin America,” which aims to promote cooperation with local communities through Japanese communities.
In this 11th edition of the survey, we are particularly looking for companies in the fisheries and food-related fields to conduct on-site surveys. Through business development of fisheries and food companies in collaboration with the Japanese community, we hope to contribute to the spread and expansion of safe and secure Japanese food products in the Latin American region and improve dietary habits.
