Captain Stagg’s eBergy Electric FDB206 electric folding bicycle with dual-wheel drive system

Posted on January 22, 2024 by News Admin

Captain Stagg has begun pre-ordering the eBergy Electric FDB206, a combination of a folding bicycle and an electric bicycle, on the support purchase service Makuake. The planned general sales price is 138,000 yen, and Makuake is offering an early bird discount of 20,000 yen off, among others.

Four colors are available: matte black (matte), army beige (matte), army green (matte), and glowing red (glossy).

The two-wheel drive system, which combines front-wheel drive by motor and rear-wheel drive by pedaling, is said to make it easier to pedal and more stable.

It is also equipped with a large cannonball-shaped light as the iconic e-burgee. The original front pipe carrier surrounding the light also has a cargo strap hook for a wider loading surface.

It uses a high-output, lightweight lithium-ion battery, and the assist can be switched between three modes (29 km in strong mode, 34 km in standard mode, and 40 km in eco mode).
