The Power of Hiroshima Companies Supporting the Postwar Reconstruction and Revival of Hiroshima

The G7 Hiroshima Summit was held in May 2023. The “Pride of Hiroshima Exhibition” (Pride of Hiroshima Exhibition) was held during that period in the center of Hiroshima, close to the Atomic Bomb Dome. A mini exhibition of this event, which was well received by local residents and tourists from Japan and abroad, will be presented.

The Pride of Hiroshima exhibition attracted approximately 17,000 visitors from Japan and abroad as an event to introduce the postwar reconstruction, present, and future efforts of companies in Hiroshima, based on the concept of “giving people around the world a sense of the trajectory of reconstruction, the shining present, and the future dreams of the people of Hiroshima.

JICA believes that the reconstruction of Hiroshima through the power of Hiroshima enterprises will have a bearing on Ukraine’s future economic recovery. We are pleased to present this exhibition in the hope that more people will learn about the actions taken by companies and the people who worked there during the postwar reconstruction period in Hiroshima.

Other exhibiting groups will be announced in late January!
