USJ, in cooperation with Osaka Prefecture, donates to the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake Relief Fund. Relief and Recovery Support for Victims

The company will donate a total of 32 million yen, consisting of 30 million yen in relief funds and 2 million yen donated by its employees, for the relief of those affected by the disaster and for the reconstruction of the affected areas. The full text of USJ’s comments is as follows

Universal Studios Japan (USJ), the operator of Universal Studios Japan, announced that it would support the affected areas in cooperation with the Osaka Prefectural Government following the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.

We would like to express our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives and their bereaved families in the Noto Peninsula Earthquake of 2024, and our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the disaster.

Universal Studios Japan, LLC (USJ), the operator of Universal Studios Japan, will donate a total of 32 million yen, including 30 million yen from the Osaka Prefectural Government and 2 million yen from its employees, to be used for relief and recovery efforts for those affected by the disaster. The company will donate a total of 32 million yen. The decision to make the donation through the Osaka Prefectural Government is based on a comprehensive partnership agreement.

We will remain close to those affected by the disaster and will continue to consider additional support activities in cooperation with the Osaka Prefectural Government. We wish for the safety and health of all those affected by the disaster and sincerely hope for the earliest possible restoration and recovery of the affected areas.
