JR West will release “Ikochan of the Platypus x Caffarel Choco Can” on January 16th to commemorate the 20th anniversary of ICOCA. The price is 1,296 yen.
This product is a collaboration with the Italian chocolate brand Caffarel. The tin container depicting Ikochan contains three foil chocolates covered with chocolate gianduja cream and two coin-shaped chocolates.
Basically, it will be sold only at Entre Marche and other Ekinka stores in the Keihanshin area, but from February 15, stores in the Hokuriku, Sanyo, and San’in areas will also carry it. It will also be sold at the Salon du Chocolat 2024, a chocolate festival from Paris, to be held at Isetan JR Kyoto from January 16 to February 14.
