Oedo Onsen Monogatari Hotels & Resorts has begun accepting reservations for TAOYA Kisoji (2278 Agatsuma, Nagiso-cho, Kiso-gun, Nagano Prefecture), which will rebrand and open on April 15.
As the company’s sixth TAOYA hot spring resort hotel brand, it is located approximately 40 minutes from Nakatsugawa Station and 15 minutes from Minami-Kiso Station by free shuttle bus.
The design concept is “Timeless Kisoji-Modern,” inspired by the inns of the inn towns, with a total of 90 rooms, including Japanese-style bed rooms. Room rates start at 23,500 yen per person (double occupancy).
The lounge, with a new fireplace, offers free beer and other alcohol, coffee, and popsicles.
In addition, a gourmet buffet breakfast and dinner will be served at the restaurant, which is based on the concept of an “auberge where travelers stay. The live kitchen will prepare dishes such as roast beef and pizza, and when the restaurant opens, dishes such as “Shinshu Miso and Bamboo Shoot Ahi Jio” will be prepared to give a sense of the season and the local character of the area.
In addition, the hotel has a garden open-air bath and a large bathhouse where guests can enjoy the quality of the spring water, which won first place in the “Moisturizing Skin Category, Chubu Region” in the “General Election of Onsen Inns and Hotels 2023”.
