Highway bus “Yumeguri-Saitama” connecting Kazo and Kumagaya with Ikaho and Kusatsu Onsen will be in service from January 20.

Chichibu Railway Kanko Bus will operate the “Yumeguri-Saitama” express bus with seat reservations starting January 20, using JR Bus vehicles equipped with restrooms and free Wi-Fi, in cooperation with JR Bus Kanto.

One round trip will be set up daily between Kazo Station North Exit and Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal. The down train departs Kazo at 7:40 am and arrives at Kusatsu Onsen at exactly 12:00 pm. The up train departs Kusatsu Onsen at 1:50 p.m. and arrives in Kazo at 6:10 p.m.

On the Saitama side, passengers can get on and off at Gyoda-shi Station South Exit and Kumagaya Station South Exit in addition to Kazo, and on the Gunma side, at Ikaho Onsen (under Miharashita) and Ikaho Ishidan-gai in addition to Kusatsu Onsen. However, it is not possible to board from the Gunma side on the down train or from the Saitama side on the up train.

The fares vary depending on the point of embarkation and disembarkation on the Gunma side: 1,800 yen to and from the two stops in Ikaho Onsen, and 2,800 yen to and from Kusatsu Onsen (both are one-way fares. (Both are one-way fares, half price for children). However, a 4% discount is available until March 31 for reservations made through “Highway Bus Net” as a net discount.
