NEXCO East Japan and NEXCELIA East Japan will hold “Highway Meal Koshien” from January 9 to determine the No.1 highway meal that everyone wants to eat from among “highway meals” sold at SA/PAs.
A total of 121 items were entered from SA/PAs in the Hokkaido and East Japan area, including menus that use plenty of local ingredients and local menus that are well-known in the area, and other menu items that are the pride of the restaurants that make the most of the characteristics of each region. Through the provincial and prefectural qualifying rounds and the finals, the No. 1 Highway Meal that everyone wants to eat will be decided. The No. 1 menu is determined based on the evaluations of those who have actually tasted the menu entries and the results of open voting on the website and SNS.
In addition, everyone who orders an entrée menu from the start of the provincial/prefectural qualifying rounds to the end of the finals will receive a shopping coupon (worth 100 yen) that can be used at the shopping corner.
