It’s home now! JAL’s first private First Class cabin with a 43-inch 4K monitor and double bed With only six seats in the cabin, First Class is JAL’s first private cabin type surrounded by a 157cm wall, with a maximum seat width of approximately 123cm and a maximum bed length of approximately 203cm. Inside the private cabin, you can choose from three modes: “sofa,” “seat and single bed,” or “double bed. The cabin can be configured in three selectable modes: “sofa,” “seat and single bed,” and “double bed.” In addition to spending time in the cabin in the seat configuration or sleeping in the flat configuration, the cabin can be configured as a half-seat and half-bed configuration to provide a relaxing space that is just like home, such as eating a meal right after getting up from bed.

The walls of the Business Class cabin are higher than those of other airlines, giving passengers a sense of being enveloped. Like First Class, Business Class features JAL’s first private cabin, with walls that are “higher than those of other airlines” at approximately 132 cm. Seat width is approximately 56 cm, and the maximum bed length is approximately 198 cm. While walls have been built, the luggage rack in the center row was removed to create a more open cabin. In addition, the cabin has a sense of openness, and there is ample storage and power supply space in the cabin. The cabin is designed to allow passengers to spend time without getting up from their seats when working or taking out small items during the flight.
