Amazon Japan will hold its annual New Year’s bargain sale, “Amazon New Year’s Sale,” for five days from 9:00 a.m. on January 3, 2024 to 11:59 p.m. on January 7, 2024.
This year, the event will focus on products with 3.5 or more customer review stars, offering Amazon devices, consumer electronics, household goods, fashion, food and beverages, and more at great prices. There will also be grab bag items featuring an assortment of popular products.
In addition, a point-up campaign will be conducted (entry required), offering up to 10% of Amazon points (granted points are limited time points, up to 10,000 points) depending on the amount of purchases made during the first sale period.
The point redemption rate is +0.5% for purchases made through the mobile app, +1.5% for Amazon Prime members, an additional +1% on top of the regular redemption rate for Amazon Mastercard purchases (up to 3% for Prime members), and +5% on eligible consumer electronics purchases.
