Tokyo Skytree’s remarkable projection mapping will be performed every night from today, the 15th, until Christmas. Sorakara-chan will also make an appearance!

Tokyo Skytree Town (1-1 Oshiage, Sumida-ku, Tokyo), operated by Tobu Tower Sky Tree and Tobu Town Solamachi, will hold “Tokyo Skytree Town Projection Mapping” from December 15 to 25.

One of the main events of the current “TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN DREAM CHRISTMAS 2023,” it was revived last year after a four-year absence to great acclaim. This year’s theme is “TOKYO STAR LIGHT: Carnival of the Night Sky Continuing into the Future,” which will bring excitement to the year-end season.

The 634-meter Tokyo Sky Tree’s official character “Sorakara-chan” appears at the foot of the tower, and gorgeous images are projected onto the tower to accompany her movements and music, creating a fusion of realism and images. The mischievous and cute appearance of Sorakara-chan and the storyline leading up to the overwhelming climax are also noteworthy.

The main spot for viewing the projection mapping is the “Sky Arena” on the 4th floor. The projection mapping will be shown for approximately 7 minutes, starting at 17:30/18:00/18:30/19:00/19:30 on each day, and at 20:00 on December 23rd and 24th. The Sky Arena is an outdoor plaza, so screenings may be changed or cancelled in the event of rain.

At the Sky Arena, visitors can enjoy a close-up view of the spectacular illumination and special lighting of the Sky Tree, and at the Christmas Market 2023, also open until December 25, they can enjoy food, beer, and sweets unique to this season.
