LINE Yahoo is offering special content for the Geminids meteor shower, which will be visible at dawn on December 15, on Yahoo!
As for the Geminids meteor shower, the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan forecasts that it will peak around 4:00 a.m. on December 15, just after the new moon and without the influence of moonlight, the first favorable conditions in eight years.
JAPAN has launched a special website for “Geminids Meteor Shower 2023,” which includes live special programs by partner companies, constellation commentary, observation tips, and weather forecasts for the day of the event. The site will be open from December 12 to 31. The live special program will be broadcast from 21:00 to 23:00 on December 14, including commentary on the highlights and live coverage of the meteor shower.
Maps (Android version) will also offer “Kazazura Search” utilizing the AR function for a limited time from December 12 to 15, 20:00 to 29:00. When you hold your phone’s camera above the sky, the official Yahoo! Maps characters “Kensaku and Enjin” will appear, riding on stars in the sky. They will provide links to special sites and information on nearby facilities.
