Oriental Land and East Japan Railway Company will operate a special Magical Dream Shinkansen train starting December 22. The service will run until the end of March 2024.
The special train depicts Disney friends in special Tokyo Disney Resort 40th Anniversary costumes and colorful dreams, designed to express “the celebration of the 40th anniversary with everyone connected and celebrating together.
The melody inside the train has also been changed to a tone commemorating the 40th anniversary of Tokyo Disney Resort. The colorful cars provide a dreamy and magical experience from the moment you enter the train to the moment you get on and get off.
Magical Dream Shinkansen” operates on the Tohoku Shinkansen Line (Tokyo – Sendai). The train is mainly operated as “Yamabiko/Nasuno” (E2 Series / 10 cars per train). The schedule for the first day of operation is as follows: Yamabiko 132 departs Sendai Station (09:44) and arrives at Tokyo Station (11:48) (tentative).
In addition, the company plans to offer tour products to Tokyo Disney Resort in cooperation with travel agencies that will allow passengers to board the special train. Families and park fans will be very happy to be able to board the train during the spring holiday season and when returning home for the year-end and New Year holidays.
