Accor has redesigned ibis budget Osaka Umeda (3-25 Banzai-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture) with a design inspired by its brand image of “Urban Sports”.
Rooms are designed to evoke the brand image, with motifs such as basketball courts and soccer fields. Each floor has its own concept, and guests can enjoy stylish designs based on the brand colors.
The lobby has been transformed into a sporty image with several brightly colored pieces of furniture. An area called “Playground” with mini soccer game machines is said to be popular among people of all ages. In addition, by painting designs on the walls that resemble buildings such as the Sky Building, which is synonymous with the northern area of Osaka, the hotel claims that visitors from overseas and other distant places will feel as if they have visited Osaka just by stepping into the hotel lobby.
In conjunction with the hotel’s renovation, breakfast has also been renewed. A total of more than 40 dishes are served buffet-style, including takoyaki, kushikatsu, mixed juice, and more.
