Hilton Tokyo (6-6-2, Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) will hold an afternoon tea plan “Meat Afternoon with Strawberry Sweets” featuring meat at the 2nd floor restaurant, Metropolitan Grill.
The offer period is scheduled from December 27 to mid-April 2024 (except January 1-3). The price is 6,400 yen per person (6,900 yen on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) and can be enjoyed for two hours from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm each day.
A wooden stand resembling a treehouse is decorated with five different types of savories accented with strawberries, including a mini burger of thick beef with ketchup sauce combined with the tartness of strawberries, and waffles topped with salmon, cream cheese and strawberry jam.
After the savory, three meat dishes – beef sirloin steak, pork loin, and smoked lamb dumplings – will be served in a stylish color box.
The “smoked lamb dumplings” are grilled to a crisp on the surface and then steamed to seal in the juices, while the spiced lamb mince and mint yogurt sauce meld together in the mouth.
After the meal, in addition to fresh strawberries (one glass per person), there will be an all-you-can-eat buffet of 10 different strawberry sweets in the dessert room.
The menu varies from day to day and includes strawberry tart, strawberry mousse cake, strawberry shortcake, etc.
