JR Hokkaido and East Japan Railway will offer the “o-today value special (with boarding ticket)” for the Tohoku and Hokkaido Shinkansen trains and the “o-today value (with boarding ticket)” for the “Hokuto” limited express train for use from February 16 to 29, 2024.
For the Tohoku and Hokkaido Shinkansen trains, all “Hayate” and “Hayabusa” trains are eligible for a 50% discount if you apply at least 20 days prior to the boarding date. For “Hokuto” trains, a 40% discount will be offered for reservations made up to 13 days in advance. The applicable seat types are reserved seats in green carriages and ordinary carriages.
All of them require an application through “Eki Net”, and Shinkansen products are limited to “Shinkansen e-Ticket Service”. The number of seats and sections to be sold are limited.
