JAL to begin service on the new Airbus A350-1000 aircraft on the Haneda-New York route on January 24. The second aircraft will be introduced by the end of the fiscal year for daily service, and the third aircraft will be deployed on the Dallas route.

JAL announced that it will begin service on the Haneda-New York route (flight JL006/JL005) on January 24, 2024, using the new Airbus A350-1000 international aircraft.

The first flight will be operated every other day, and by the end of FY2023, a second aircraft will be introduced to operate the same flight daily. Upon receipt of the third aircraft, the airline has decided to deploy it on the Haneda-Dallas-Fort Worth route as the second point of operation.

Reservations for the Haneda-New York route for the winter timetable of FY2023 (through March 30, 2024) will be available starting today, December 11, and for the summer timetable of FY2024 and thereafter, starting around December 20.
