At the kick-off presentation of the new area held at USJ on December 5, the key visual of the jungle that will immerse visitors in the world of Nintendo’s classic “Donkey Kong” and the new attraction, “Donkey Kong’s Crazy Trolley,” were revealed for the first time. The presentation also revealed for the first time the contents of the new attraction, Donkey Kong’s Crazy Trolley.
USJ will expand “Super Nintendo World” at Universal Studios Japan (USJ) and open a new area, Donkey Kong Country, in the spring of 2024.

In conjunction with the opening, the company will also unveil a selection of merchandise featuring “Donkey Kong Country,” which will go on pre-sale on December 6, prior to the opening in spring 2024.
The lineup includes a total of six items, including a “catsuit” of wearable goods, “assorted snacks” with their high-impact barrel containers, “printed cookies” with Mario and Donkey Kong designs, and “chocolate crunch” that is perfect for handing out as souvenirs.
It will be carried at three stores in total: the One Up Factory in Super Nintendo World, the Universal Studios Store, the park’s largest store, and California Confectionery, a confectionery specialty store.
