Fuji Speedway Hotel will collaborate with GR Supra.
From January 15, 2024 check-in to June 30, 2024 check-out, suite or villa guests will be offered the privilege of test driving a GR Supra around the hotel during their stay.
The test vehicles are the GR Supra (2020/AT) and GR Supra (2022/MT), equipped with Michelin tires from Japan, which are designed for high grip and quietness.
The 2020/AT is a special edition model tuned and wrapped by TOM’S, Toyota’s official tuner; both MT and AT are available, and those with a regular AT license can choose AT to enjoy driving. Reservations can be made for one car (AT or MT) per stay, and test drives are available within the designated one-hour time frame. Guidance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis, so early reservations are recommended.
During the same period, the hotel’s “BAR 4563” will also offer a limited time only cocktail inspired by the GR Supra. Inspired by the philosophy of the Supra, which continues to evolve along with cutting-edge technology, the cocktail expresses a playful spirit that evolves its contents during the period.
The “Supra Winter Festival,” an overnight stay plan that includes a ride comparison of the four previous generations of Supras and a reception dinner, will be available for the first eight couples only. Fuji Speedway, and the hotel will collaborate to offer test rides.
The plan allows passengers to ride in all four successive generations of Supras. The Celica XX 2000GT (1985/MT) in particular features retractable headlights and an inline 6-cylinder DOHC engine. In addition, the JZA70 Supra 2.5GT Twin Turbo Aerotop (1992/MT), 80 Supra (2002/MT), and GR Supra (2022/MT) will also be offered.
During your stay, you can relax in the Fuji Omikami Onsen and enjoy a breakfast buffet with a spectacular view of Mt.
On the evening of the 21st, the first day of the event, eight groups of participants will gather for a reception dinner where they can hear behind-the-scenes stories from the restorers, listen to the Supra restoration process and the hardships of restoration in a private room at TROFEO Italian, and enjoy an Italian dinner course prepared by Chef Showa Sato using ingredients from Shizuoka Prefecture. You can also meet other participants and Toyota’s restoration specialists.
Registration for the “Supra Winter Festival,” an overnight stay plan that includes a test-drive of four generations of Supras and a reception dinner, will begin at 12:00 p.m. on December 15. Registration will close when the maximum number of 8 couples is reached.
