And that orange-colored tuna! The new Star Wars and Columbia is definitely one to wear in the snowy mountains (hos)!

Posted on December 14, 2023 by News Admin

Columbia has announced a new project with the “Star Wars” series, The Skywalker Pilot Collection.

The lineup will feature eight items that incorporate details of flight suits in the orange color familiar to fans, while packing plenty of practicality needed to confront the imperial army and the fury of nature.

Inspired by Luke Skywalker’s flight suit, the “Skywalker Pilot Ski Suit” (69,300 yen) has the exact same details as that tuna. The surface is lined with Omni-Tech, a waterproof and breathable material, and the lining is lined with Omni-Heat Infinity, a heat-reflective heat-retaining material. The hand pockets and zippers on the cuffs and hem allow for comfort adjustment.

The Skywalker Pilot Ski Jacket (46,200 yen) is equipped with Columbia’s unique features similar to ski suits. It also comes with embossed silicone patches representing the rebel forces and comlink (voice-only communication device). Also hidden in the inside security pocket is a message written in Aurabesch and a blueprint of the T-65 X-Wing Starfighter.

A thinner “Skywalker Pilot Light Jacket” (35,200 yen) is also in the lineup. The T-47 Airspeeder/Snow Speeder blueprints are hidden here.

The Skywalker Pilot Pullover (19,800 yen), Skywalker Pilot Long Sleeve T (9,900 yen), and Skywalker Pilot Short Sleeve T (7,700 yen each) are also available for use in town as well as the snowy mountains. Each of these items features a patch with an embossed silicon logo depicting the rebel forces, and other details that show the attention to detail.

Skywalker Pilot Cross Body Bag” (6,600 yen) and “Skywalker Pilot Ball Cap” (5,500 yen) will also go on sale at the same time. The “Skywalker Pilot Cross Body Bag” (6,600 yen) and “Skywalker Pilot Ball Cap” (5,500 yen) will go on sale at the same time.

The special video on the special page also features Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker. The video also provides an insight into the concept behind the development of the collection by Columbia’s product development team as well as Lucasfilm.
