Tokyo DisneySea will host “Duffy & Friends’ Heartfelt Strawberry Gifts” from January 15, 2024.
Various items will be based on the story of Shellie Mae and her friends making strawberry brooches with all their hearts, while imagining Duffy’s happy face.
Of particular note are the “plushie costumes” (5,400 yen each). The costumes are reproduced directly from the main artwork, and when you put them on the separately sold plushies of the characters you have picked up, a scene from the story will appear before your eyes.
In addition to the dress, the Shellie Mae plush costume comes with a ribbon with strawberries and a needle holder for making brooches as accessories.
Gelatoni’s plush costume also features a measuring tape over his shoulder and a hat with strawberry flowers.
The Stella Lou plush costume, which also includes a lace accessory that is supposed to be used as a brooch, has a nice yellow dress and elegant red ribbon.
And Leena Belle’s plush costume, with its strawberry corsage ribbon and dazzling spring green, comes with a ribbon accessory.
