Chiba Prefecture and JR East Chiba Branch will sell the “Thank You ♥ Chiba Free Pass,” which allows unlimited train, bus, and ferry rides for two days, and the “Thank You ♥ Chiba Free Pass,” which includes a round-trip ticket from within Tokyo, from January 4 to February 28, 2024.
The Free Pass allows unlimited rides for two days on JR lines, non-reserved seats in ordinary cars of ordinary trains (including rapid trains), some railroads, local buses, and Tokyo Bay Ferry. It can be used in combination with limited express tickets and “Ekinet Tokudate (ticketless limited express ticket)” within the applicable area. The price is 3970 yen for adults/1980 yen for children, and is available at reserved-seat ticket vending machines at major JR stations and Kurihama Station in Chiba Prefecture.
The free ticket includes a free pass and a round-trip ticket from any station in the Tokyo metropolitan area. The ticket is priced at 4,790 yen for adults and 2,390 yen for children, and is available at reserved-seat ticket vending machines at major JR stations in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Tickets will not be sold at stations in Chiba and Ibaraki prefectures and Kurihama Station.
Showing the free pass, visitors can use rental bicycles at participating facilities free of charge and receive “Thank You ♥ Privilege” at NewDays and other stores.
