Yutoriro Atami (1173-534 Izuyama, Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture), a hot spring inn operated by Lilo Hotels & Resorts, has opened a new guest room “Japanese/Western-style room twin with sauna + outdoor water bath” where guests can enjoy sauna in private space.
Located on a hilltop in the rich nature of Mt. Izu, the ryokan offers a footbath café overlooking Sagami Bay, a large Atami Izuyama hot spring bath that is known for its skin-beautifying properties, and meals prepared using seasonal ingredients. Three of the 30 guest rooms have recently been renovated, and a barrel-shaped “private barrel sauna” and “outdoor bath with Jacuzzi” have been installed on the terrace.
The sauna heater is “HARVIA,” which has the world’s top market share. The room is spacious enough for up to two people to enjoy a self-launge. The open-air bath can be used as a regular Jacuzzi bath or as a water bath with special ice, and guests can enjoy a relaxing time while sitting on chairs on the terrace and bathing in the open air.
Rooms are equipped with two Simmons semi-double beds, Bluetooth-compatible audio and television, refrigerator, air humidifier, nano steamer, hair dryer, and amenities exclusive to the special rooms.
The new room plan commemorating the renewal offers up to 35% off the regular price, starting at 23,760 yen per person per night (based on double occupancy). The plan includes a standard kaiseki dinner and a Japanese breakfast featuring a colorful small bowl of cooked rice and freshly cooked rice in an earthenware pot.
