G-SHOCK’s top-of-the-line MRG-B5000R series features durable Durasoft band. Homage to the first plane design.

Casio Computer Co., Ltd. will release the MRG-B5000R on January 19, 2024 as a new addition to its top-of-the-line G-SHOCK MR-G series. The price is 396,000 yen.

Based on the “MRG-B5000” of the same series, the bezel, subdivided into 25 parts and finely polished, has been retained, and a Durasoft band, which is resistant to discoloration, dirt, and deterioration over time and has excellent wearability, has been adopted. This model is easy to use not only for formal occasions but also for active scenes.

The design pays homage to the coloring of the original G-SHOCK DW-5000C-1B. The case is coated with DLC, the side buttons are treated with gold IP, and the face has a gold accent color.

The band is decorated with the SHOCK RESIST mark and brick pattern texture that symbolize the face design of the first model, and titanium parts are incorporated in the case attachment area to achieve high strength. The middle detent is a titanium one-pusher tri-fold design for a stylish look.
