JR East Trading will release Suica penguin merchandise from the TRAINIART brand on November 18, the anniversary of Suica’s 22nd anniversary.
The only food item among the five goods is the “Suica Penguin Manjuu,” a bun with a koshi-an filling for the Suica penguin and a sesame filling for the little penguin. The set of both kinds is priced at 972 yen and sold only at the TRAINIART TOKYO Grandsta store and the Museum Shop TRAINIART Railway Museum store.
Four types of lifestyle accessories will be available: two sizes of box pouches (large 2,970 yen, small 2,420 yen), ID card holders (3,300 yen), and pass cases (3,300 yen) with embroidered Suica penguin and child penguin faces. These will be available at the two stores mentioned above as well as at the online store “JRE MALL.
