MARY QUANT will release Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse-themed items on November 15 to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary. The items will be available at department stores nationwide, Blooming Nakanishi’s online store, and vending machines at six locations nationwide.
The theme of this second collection is the look of the 60’s when designer Marie Quandt started the culture movement. The retro-chic colors of this collection can be used for everyday wear.
The gauze handkerchiefs (1,100 yen each), made of double gauze, are not bulky and can be carried in a small bag. The platinum feel of Disney 100 is expressed with glitter prints, and the design on the front and back are different. Available in two patterns and three colors.
The popular “towel handkerchiefs” (1,100 yen each) are gorgeous with lame. The bold artwork on these handkerchiefs will cheer you up just by holding them. The combination of Marie Quandt’s iconic daisy with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse art is also a delight. 3 colors for each of the 3 patterns.
Towels with zippers (3,080 yen each), which can be used as accessory compartments, help you organize your bag. The towels are made of toweling and are washable to keep them clean. Two colors are available per pattern.
An “eco bag” (4,180 yen) is also available, which can hold A4-size documents, so it would be good to have on hand as a sub-bag. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are printed with glitter for a glamorous look. It can also be slung over the shoulder with the included strap. Comes with a special case, two colors per pattern.
