Awaji-ya celebrates the Hanshin Tigers’ Japan championship by selling only “hanging paper” of pulled rice.

Posted on November 21, 2023 by News Admin

Awajiya will release the “2023 Hanshin Tigers Japan No.1 Commemorative Hittari Meshi no Kakegami” (200 yen per sheet) on November 18.

This is the first product in Awajiya’s history with no elastic, no jar, and no contents, just a wrapping paper. It is made to fit perfectly into the jar of pulled rice, and if it is hung properly, the Hanshin Tigers logo will appear on the top of the yellow Mt.

There are some tips on how to hang it up, and it is recommended to use two pieces to complete it more beautifully.

In addition to the station kiosks, it will be available at the Hanshin Department Stores’ Umeda Main Store, Seishin Chuo Store, Tarumi Station Store, Sannomiya Center-gai Store, Daimaru Kobe Store, Daimaru Ashiya Store, Takashimaya Osaka Store, Keihan Moriguchi Store, and Lazona Kawasaki Store until December 31, 2012.
