Citizen Watch’s “wicca” watch brand has released the “Disney Collection ‘Mickey & Minnie’ Special Edition” (33,000 yen). Limited to 600 pieces, it will go on sale on November 16.
The special watch features Mickey and Minnie Mouse in dull colors & retro touches on a matte ivory dial. The translucent center section is printed with a dot pattern and a Mickey icon and a heart mark in a hide-and-seek style.
The indexes are in retro-touch Arabic numerals, which are highly legible. A heart at the quarter-mark and Mickey icons in the center of the second hand and at the 11 o’clock position are also subtly designed.
The silhouettes of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are engraved on the back cover. The watch is powered by “Solar-Tech,” a caliber E031 that does not require periodic battery changes, is water resistant to 5 atmospheres, and runs for approximately 6 months on a full charge. The watch comes in a special box, making it a perfect gift.
