Tokyu Resorts & Stay will renovate Tokyu Stay Nishi-Shinjuku (5-9-8 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) with a target completion date of March 25, 2024. To commemorate the renewal, Tokyu Resorts & Stay will start pre-sales of the “Renewal Commemorative Plan” on November 14, which offers a 5% discount from the price of the Standard Plan on the official website.
The hotel has been renovated to meet the diverse needs of inbound and domestic leisure travelers. Plans call for all rooms to be non-smoking, all single rooms to be renovated with double beds for two or more people, new dining space, and new electrical fixtures. In particular, the hotel plans to increase the number of rooms with mini-kitchens, and all rooms will be equipped with microwave ovens and two-door refrigerator-freezers.
In addition, interior items that were scheduled to be discarded during the renovation of Tokyu Stay Shibuya were recycled as novelties (laundry bags, chopstick rests, and toys). In this renovation, the company plans to upcycle foot throws into dryer bags and rental equipment bags, and bolster cushions into neck straps for hotel staff.
