Pokémon drawn in the style of ukiyo-e woodblock prints will jack up the Asakusa area in “‘Pokémon GO’: Eight Views of the Asakusa Route”.

Posted on November 19, 2023 by News Admin

Pokémon Inc. will hold the “‘Pokémon GO’ Asakusa Route Eight Scenic Views,” an event using the new route feature of the app “Pokémon GO,” starting November 25.

Pokémon depicted in the style of Ukiyoe jack up Asakusa. Eight official routes will also appear in the game to discover the various attractions of Asakusa. In addition to the appearance of a giant Ukiyo-e map-style picture scroll that overlooks the official routes and walking areas, Pokémon depicted in the map-style picture scroll will also appear in the game.

During the event, Pokemon decorations will appear in Asakusa to make strolling around Asakusa while playing Pokemon GO even more fun. In addition, there will be a campaign in which visitors can receive map-style illustration stickers by walking the official route using Pokémon GO. In addition, visitors can enjoy a variety of other contents and experiences, such as the distribution of shoppers that make it look like you are walking the streets with Pikachu on Saturdays and Sundays during the event.
