Sotetsu and Sotetsu Point Miles, a point service common to the Sotetsu Group

Posted on November 13, 2023 by News Admin

Sotetsu Group will launch a common point service, Sotetsu Point, in March 2024. In conjunction with this, the “Joyous Point” service, which can be used at Sotetsu Group commercial facilities, and the “Welcome Card Point” service at Sotetsu Rozen will be unified into the Sotetsu Point service. On the same day, the “Sotetsu Point Miles” train point service will also be launched.

One Sotetsu point can be earned for every 110 yen (tax included) spent at facilities eligible for Joyous Points, and one point can be earned for every 200 yen (tax not included) spent at facilities eligible for Welcome Card Points. Points can be used at participating commercial facilities and stores at the rate of 1 point = 1 yen.

Sotetsu Point Miles is a service that awards miles to passengers who use PASMO registered in the “Sotetsu Style App” within the Sotetsu Lines, excluding those who use Suica or free passes such as the “Sotetsu All-Line One-Day Pass”. Mileage will be awarded based on a predetermined award rate for passengers who use the same fare segment 10 or more times within the same month, with the mileage award rate increasing at intervals of 20 or 30 times or more.

In addition, mobile PASMO and Apple Pay PASMO will grant 3% of the fare regardless of the number of times the card is used, and children will receive 50% of the fare regardless of the number of times the card is used. 10 miles will also be awarded for using Sotetsu Line and Sotetsu Bus on the same day with the same card.

The accumulated miles can be converted to Sotetsu points via the Sotetsu Style application. 1 point = 1 mile, which is 10% more than the mileage eligible for conversion. Miles can also be recharged (credited) to PASMO at Seven Bank ATMs at a rate of 1 mile = 1 yen.

Both points and miles are valid for two years from the date of last use, and points and miles expire when membership is automatically canceled after two years of no use from the date of last use.
