JAL and JALUX announced a service that will enable donations using miles at “JAL Furusato Tax Payment” and “JAL Furusato Crowdfunding”.
This service allows users to make donations by converting miles accumulated on the website into “JAL Shopping Points”. JAL Shopping Points” can be converted at the rate of 1 point = 1 yen, with a minimum of 1,000 miles, and can also be used in conjunction with credit card payments.
In addition, a campaign will be conducted in which customers who donate using “JAL Shopping Points” will be rewarded with miles equivalent to 5% of the amount spent.
