Hoshino Resort offers a 14-day/13-night Japan round-trip course by EV for graduation travel plans around “KAI”.

Posted on November 5, 2023 by News Admin

Hoshino Resort will release “Kai no Yumeguri Super Circular Graduation Trip Plan” for students who are about to graduate from the “Kai” brand of onsen ryokan hotels.

This year, the “EV Japan Tour Course” will be introduced. The tour will run from February 11 to March 9, 2024 (Schedule A: February 11 to 24, 2024; Schedule B: February 25 to March 9, 2024), and visitors will be able to challenge a long-distance journey while driving in an EV Nissan LEAF. The tour will start and end in Tokyo, and will travel around Japan by EV, visiting 13 of the 22 Kanjiki facilities located throughout Japan, from Kanjiki Tsugaru in Aomori Prefecture in the north to Kanjiki Kirishima in Kagoshima Prefecture in the south.

They will stay at: Kai Kinugawa (1st night), Kai Tsugaru (2nd night), Kai Kawaji (3rd night), Kai Matsumoto (4th night), Kai Kaga (5th night), Kai Izumo (6th night), Kai Nagato (7th night), Kai Beppu (8th night), Kai Kirishima (9th night), Kai Unzen (10th night), Kai Tamatsukuri (11th night), Kai Enshu (12th night), Kai Ito (13th night).

Traveling while staying at a hot spring inn, KAI, allows visitors to enjoy the differences in hot springs in different regions while recovering from the fatigue of a long journey. In addition, by spending 14 long days with friends, the program is designed to create once-in-a-lifetime memories.

A Nissan LEAF was provided as the vehicle for transportation. Students who rarely have the opportunity to drive EVs on a daily basis can experience EV travel. EV chargers and eMP charging spots installed at some facilities offer free charging, allowing students to use the EV without worrying about the cost of recharging.

In this course, except for the first and last day, dinner and daily lunch will be free. You can stop by a local restaurant to enjoy a local meal, visit a traditional craft workshop, or have other experiences unique to the area to learn more about the local attractions. If you want to know the best places to go, the staff in the world who know the area well will be able to assist you.

For dinner on the last day, a special dinner at the final destination, Kai Ito, will be served: “Sankai Nabe Kaiseki” for itinerary A and “Tsubaki Steamed Golden Snapper Kaiseki” for itinerary B. In addition, an original novelty tenugui (hand towel) will be presented as a commemorative gift.

Each session is limited to one group (limited to four people) and is open to those who are making a graduation trip from a university, graduate school, or vocational school. The fee is 117,000 yen per person.
