Tourism Expo Japan 2023 Osaka-Kansai, one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at INTEX Osaka (Suminoe-ku, Osaka City) for four days from October 26 to 29.
At the Tourism Authority of Thailand booth, a large digital screen in the front of the booth first introduces the highlights of a trip to Thailand. The model course video includes beautiful scenery, natural activities, and familiar Thai cuisine.
The highlight of this year’s event is the “Thai Art World,” where visitors can see, touch, make, and experience the world of Thai art. Visitors can create colorful original flip-flops by reusing trash from flip-flops collected from the ocean, or make sand bottles from glass fragments and bottles made from marine debris.
In addition to Thai-inspired fabrics and bamboo baskets on display, local brands will be exhibiting and selling bags, tumblers, mugs, and other items with cute elephant designs.
In addition, a photo spot that makes visitors feel as if they have traveled to Thailand is also available. Choose your favorite scenery, such as “Wat Arun” in Bangkok, “Patong Beach” in Phuket, or “Rice Terraces of Baan Khong Khan” in Chiang Mai, and stand in front of the green backdrop, and the machine will take a composite photo of you. The printed photo (or downloadable image) can be taken home as a souvenir.
