Tourism Expo Japan 2023 Osaka-Kansai, one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at INTEX Osaka (Suminoe-ku, Osaka City) for four days from October 26 to 29.
The booth of “Wonderful Indonesia,” where women in ethnic costumes greet visitors, and the “Nun’s Coffee” tasting corner, where visitors can taste authentic specialty coffees, are popular this year.
Indonesia (=Ni) consists of more than 17,000 islands scattered around the equator, and grows high-quality coffee beans in rich soil created by volcanoes. It is also ranked as the world’s fourth largest coffee bean producing country.
Fresh coffee roasted in-house from beans grown in the Gayo Plateau of Sumatra, Toraja Plateau of Sulawesi, and Batur Island of Bali has a delicious aroma, richness, and refreshing taste. In addition to introducing visitors to the culture of the Indonesian archipelago through coffee tasting, the festival also features ethnic dances and folk instrument performances.
