Tourism Expo Japan 2023 Osaka-Kansai, one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at INTEX Osaka (Suminoe-ku, Osaka City) for four days from October 26 to 29.
The “Ministry of Foreign Affairs Overseas Safety Consultation Center” booth by the Consular Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is collaborating with “Golgo 13” by Takao Saito again this year to encourage people to register for “Tabi-Regi,” which is useful for overseas travel.
Tabiregi-Register is a safe and secure service that provides you with e-mail updates on safety information for the countries you have registered before your trip, and by registering your contact information for safety confirmation, the consular bureau will contact you directly depending on local emergencies and other situations.
By reading the QR code posted at the booth and answering a simple questionnaire, visitors will receive a free “Golgo 13 x Ministry of Foreign Affairs” special comic (Safety Measures Manual by Golgo 13 [supplemental edition]), a special Tabi-Regi clear file, a special ballpoint pen, and more.
Other exhibits include measures against infectious diseases and passports for overseas travel.
