Tourism Expo Japan 2023 Osaka-Kansai, one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at INTEX Osaka (Suminoe-ku, Osaka City) for four days from October 26 to 29.
The booth of Brunei, a small country in Southeast Asia, introduces its famous sights such as mosques and national parks. Although two-thirds of the country is a jungle, Brunei is within easy reach of the city center, making it a great destination for those who want to enjoy natural activities in safety and a compact stay, according to the company.
Currently, Royal Brunei Airlines operates a direct flight from Narita to Brunei, and the flight takes about 6 to 6.5 hours. At the booth, visitors can receive basic information about Brunei and travel advice, and if they follow the official Instagram and post a photo, they can receive goods from the official mascot, the Tengmalu monkey.
The booth also offers free “Arabic letter art” by local residents. Tell them your name, and they will draw it on a postcard in Arabic on the spot, so you can take it home as a souvenir.
