Korea Tourism Organization, “Giant Gacha” for collecting 5 stamps. Prizes include round-trip tickets to Japan and Korea by Jin Air and stir-fried noodles with buldak.

Tourism Expo Japan 2023 Osaka-Kansai, one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at INTEX Osaka (Suminoe-ku, Osaka City) for four days from October 26 to 29.

Korea will have one of the largest booths in the Asia area, with a large number of exhibitors including the Korea Tourism Organization, airlines, activities, shopping, and other businesses. The booth introduces content that will make both first-time visitors and repeaters want to go to Korea right away.

Visitors who visit the booths and collect five digital stamps can try their hand at the “Giant Gacha” and win prizes such as round-trip tickets to Japan and Korea by Jin Air (one winner each day), an Asiana Airlines airplane (one winner each day), and Sanyo Japan’s Buldak Stir-Fried Noodles CUP.

The popular annual stage event is also a highlight, and this year will feature a talk show with three guests: Korean makeup artist Gyutae, YouTuber Akunyan, who promotes K-pop idols, and Masayuki Kusumi, known as the author of “Solo no Gourmet”.

In addition, there will be a “Korean Idol Makeup Experience” (reservations required via the official Korea Tourism Organization X or official Instagram), a Hallyu experience corner using VR, and a corner introducing the “Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games”.

In addition, there are various photo opportunities in the Korea booth, including a photo spot of Daegu, a regional city with direct flights from Kansai International Airport. By taking pictures of the exhibits and panels and posting them on SNS, 100 lucky visitors will win a plush toy “Muncho,” the official mascot of Gangwon 2024.
