NEXCO East Hokkaido Branch has published the “Hokkaido Drive Guide 2023-2024 Autumn/Winter Edition” and is distributing 65,000 free copies at SA/PAs, roadside stations, and New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido.
Hokkaido Drive Guide is a compact-sized information magazine that provides useful information for driving in Hokkaido, such as restaurants, tourist facilities, and points to note when driving on highways, etc. It is also published in a web version that can be viewed free of charge from a PC or smartphone. and other benefits at 55 locations by presenting the magazine or the web version.
This season’s special theme is “Autumn and Winter Only: Hokkaido, the Beauty of Hokkaido,” which picks up spots recommended for lovers of spectacular scenery and hot springs. In addition, “One Hand Gourmet,” which can be easily eaten during a break in driving, and “Hokkaido Ice Activities,” which are not only for skiing and snowboarding, are also introduced.
It also includes a model course for the “Hokkaido Smartphone Stamp Rally 2023,” which is being held until March 20, 2024, information on seasonal events, and a web-based reader survey with prizes of local specialties and hot spring bath tickets.
