The Tokyo Disney Resort will be holding a special event, “Disney Christmas,” starting on November 8 and running for 48 days until December 25, when the parks will be decked out in festive Christmas attire.
The “Praline & Pistachio Cake” (¥550 for a single item) is a visual treat that looks as if it were a Christmas wreath.
The mousse cake is filled with green-colored cream. The star-shaped chocolate and other decorations further enhance the wreath-like appearance. It is such a Christmas sweet that you will want to take a picture of it before tasting it.
For an additional 550 yen, you can upgrade to a souvenir plate. A photo with sweets on the plate will add to the atmosphere. The illustration of Disney characters gathered together playing music against a deep navy background like a winter night is also a wonderful touch.
