Xreal Japan announced the XREAL Air 2 Pro, a high-end model of AR glasses, in conjunction with CEATEC 2023, which has been held at Makuhari Messe since October 17, 2011. The price is 61,980 yen.
The company had announced a new AR glasses model, XREAL Air 2, on September 21 in conjunction with the Tokyo Game Show 2023, and the newly announced XREAL Air 2 Pro is a higher-end model.
The basic functions are the same as those of XREAL Air 2, but XREAL Air 2 Pro has the ability to adjust the transmittance of the sunglass part by electronic control. The degree of transparency can be changed in three levels (0%, 35%, and 100%) by pressing the mode button on the right temple according to the brightness of the surroundings.
Because of these features, the XREAL Air 2 Pro weighs 75g, up slightly from 72g in the XREAL Air 2, but it eliminates the need to carry the included light shield, which blocks outside light for a more immersive experience.
The company is also exhibiting at CEATEC 2023, and visitors can try out the product in its booth.
