On October 17, JALUX launched “[FEILER] JAL DREAM EXPRESS Disney100 Handkerchiefs” (3,300 yen each) featuring the Disney characters depicted on JAL’s specially-painted “JAL DREAM EXPRESS Disney100” aircraft.
It is produced by Feiler, a long-established German chenille weaver, and features five characters, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Stitch, Woody, and Ariel, each fully painted on the surface.
The handkerchiefs are made on a weaving machine operated by skilled craftsmen and are characterized by their moderate thickness and soft texture. They are said to become more comfortable on the skin as they are used. The vivid colors and the two-sided design are also attractive. It is also popular as a collection item. The size is 25 x 25 cm (length x width).
The “FEILER] JAL DREAM EXPRESS Disney100 Handkerchief Set” (6,000 yen), a two-piece set featuring Elsa and Jasmine, is also available for in-flight use only.
