Ashikaga Flower Park, Illumination event with more than 5 million light bulbs. Flowers and light compete with each other!

Ashikaga Flower Park (607 Sakoma-cho, Ashikaga-shi, Tochigi Prefecture) will hold the illumination event “Flower Garden of Light – Flower Fantasy 2023” from October 18 to February 14, 2024, with over 5 million light bulbs.

Highlights include “Kiseki no Ootou,” which depicts the park’s symbolic “Ootou” wisteria in a story from the beginning of blooming to full bloom and falling, “Happiness Garden of Light,” a three-dimensional illumination of roses, and “Flower Castle,” a spectacular production of light fireworks and sound. Also new this season is “Kokoro no Homeland,” a new spot that shows the four seasons of Japan through fantastic projection mapping.

Also during the period, visitors can enjoy seasonal themed illuminations: from October 18 to mid-November, “Collaboration of Light and Flowers” will light up the amethyst sage.

During “Christmas in the Flower Park” from late November to late December, Santa Claus will appear and distribute gifts to children. After the New Year, from January 1 to February 14, “New Year Illumination” will be held, in which lights and winter-blooming buttons will compete with each other.
