JAL and JALUX announced that the airport store “BLUE SKY” will be renamed “JAL PLAZA” The changeover will be completed at all stores from October 1 to the end of December. The name will be different from “JAL PLAZA,” the airline ticketing counter operated by JAL Navia.
In order to enhance the presence and value of the plaza as a point of contact between the JAL Group and its users, the name will be changed to “plaza,” which means “square” or “a place where many people gather. The logo uses a variety of red colors in a block pattern to express a lively atmosphere. The new name will be used as an opportunity to increase the number of original products, such as JAL logo goods.
In addition, with the aim of making it easier to accumulate miles, the 5% discount service with JAL Card and JAL Grobal Wallet will be discontinued, and from April 2024, a service will be offered to increase the mileage award rate to 1.5 to 3 times the current rate.
