Casio Computer Co., Ltd. will release three new MUDMASTER models from G-SHOCK with dustproof and mudproof construction, the GWG-B1000, with a powerful design achieved by using metal for exterior parts, on October 13. Each is priced at 121,000 yen.
Dustproof and mudproof construction for environments where dirt and debris can accumulate. The rugged metal exterior provides a rugged design that accentuates the polyhedral form while providing impact resistance.
To protect the windshield glass, which is susceptible to shocks, DLC-coated metal is used for the protector parts at 12 and 6 o’clock to improve wear resistance. The guard parts for the front buttons are made using MIM (Metal Injection Molding) processing, a metal injection molding method, to enable precise shapes.
It is equipped with a triple sensor capable of measuring direction, atmospheric pressure, altitude, and temperature, and a smartphone link function, a first for a model compatible with radio-controlled solar power. In conjunction with a dedicated application, the watch is equipped with a location indicator that shows the direction of the location recorded by the application using a small hand on the inner dial, and a mission log that allows the user to check the activity history on the application.
